GIVE A NEW START TO YOUR END-OF-LIFE VEHICLE WITH OUR CAR RECYCLING ADELAIDE SERVICE

80% of a vehicle is recycled whereas the remaining 20% can’t be recycled which includes ferrous and nonferrous metal pieces, dirt, glass, fabric.

Each type of metal that produces your car is recyclable. Huge metal pieces can frequently be brought to a local salvage yard for a small compensation. Some smaller parts can really be reused via curbside recycling programs.

If you want to make smart money selling your car for parts, moving the parts is worth more than the value of your car as transportation. Selling off your car’s parts can take a longer time than selling your car as a whole to someone or in a junkyard for its parts.

A dead vehicle is not that useless as one might think. Some parts like the ones mentioned below can be repaired and recycled over and over again. This reduces the reckless exploitation of natural resources and energy required for the manufacturing process.

First, the vehicles are shredded and the metal content is recovered for recycling. Repairable and reusable parts are recovered and sometimes sold back to manufacturers. Fluids like oils, fuel, antifreeze, etc are removed before the shredding process. Then finally, the shredded metal is melted and the remainder known as automotive shredder residue is put into a landfill. In the process, almost 80% of the vehicle was recycled.
